Zoe - 27th Challenge "Anything but a card"

Good morning Lovelies! Can you believe it's nearly March? Hopefully the evenings will be lighter for longer soon and I can get all my crafty stash back out into my summerhouse? I'm fed up with my dining table looking a mess lol!

So this fortnight our theme over at Rhedd and Rosie's is "Anything but a card" is being sponsored by our lovely Sandie.

I have made a Wallhanging out of an empty cardboard box, I've used various techniques, including texture paste, crackle paint on my flowers which are stamped, coloured and die cut, and stamping of course!

I hope you like it? Thank you for visiting today, I hope you feel inspired to join in? Xx have a great day xx Zoe xx

Sneaky peek no 3 "A Village Mystery"

Good morning Lovelies! It's promising to be a dry day! Fingers crossed!

Tomorrow, tomorrow! Is the day that Sheena Douglass is on Create and Craft launching her fabulous new A6 stamp plates, I'm so excited, so if you like, Miss Marple and the likes you will love these new stamps!

Here is another sneaky peek at what I had to play with!

Using the fab Kraft Card from Crafters Companion, I heat embossed in white EP this gorgeous Rose set, I coloured the flowers in with a white marker pen then went over with my Spectrum Noirs, the white just gives a base for a better colour and also gives some shading!

Thank you for visiting, please tune in tomorrow the show times are 9am, 1pm and 6pm on Create and Craft!

A few projects

Good evening Lovelies! Eww it's pouring down rain :( and there was me thinking it was starting to be a bit spring-like! Hahaha!

I'm just posting a few of my makes from the last few days!

I made this first card for a daily challenge in a group on Facebook I belong to the theme was "Trees"

The trees and little birds are dies.

Just playing here with masks and Sheena Douglass fab stamps.

A little plaque I made yesterday out of cardboard.

Mum wanted a 50th birthday card for a friend. Tim Holtz helped me out ;) lol

This is today's challenge make, the theme is "Moon"

I've also made this Collage today, I'm not sure what to do with it yet? I'm pretty pleased with it, not bad for first attempt? The flower is Wendy Vecchi "Clearly Art" modelling film which I covered with Tim Holtz Frosted Film, I then used tattered flower die and coloured with Archival inks and heated until pliable then moulded into shape, and leaves.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog, it makes my days reading your comments :) xx

So here's my next sneaky peek, beautiful stamp isn't it? Loved working with it, so easy to colour in! I used Distress inks and a water brush to colour mine in then flicked the ink over to create an interesting background!

I hope you've got your recorders set? Come back tomorrow for another sneaky peek :) have a great day xx Zoe xx

Bit of Jofy

Good afternoon Lovelies and fellow blog landers!

I love Jofy stamps and so couldn't resist a couple of sets of the new ones, plus a couple of the fabulous Stencils/masks! So I've had a play!

Yesterday (Sunday) I made this card!

And today I've made this Plaque, out of some cardboard box I'd cut up, acrylic paints and texture paste, the flowers are coloured with Coloursoft pencils! There's a lot of texture in this plaque, very tactile!

Tim Holtz has got "Goosebumps"

Good afternoon Lovelies! I do hope everyone is keeping safe and dry in this awful weather?

I've been doing a lot of playing as it's not nice enough to go out! So got my beloved Tim Holtz stamps out and gave them a bit of the "Goosebumps" treatment! Goosebumps in case you haven't heard of is a texture spray, I like using them as a resist but you can just spray onto card or your papers to create texture, I've used them through stencils/masks, I love using them, I bought mine in New York when we went out there before Christmas.

My first one I used Kraft card!

This one I used a Splodgeaway mask, but the stamps are TH

This last one I used distress stains and rock salt to create the pitted background.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit today, I love reading your comments, have a great day xx Zoe xx

Zoe - Week 6 "Use Fabric/Anything Goes"

Good Morning Lovelies, Happy Subday, I hope your weather isn't too frightful where you are?

So as it's Sunday it's new challenge for Premium Craft Brands we were asked to use fabric in our samples, but as usual you can do Anything Goes!

i found these cute little canvas tags a while ago and hadn't used any and so perfect for this project.

I used the PCB mask with pan pastels for my background, I'd been to DIY store earlier in the week and remembered I'd seen people use those colour swatch strips, so snagged a few in different colours, now I love bright colours and often clash them, I love to experiment with colour, so I stamped this lovely crocus stamp by Paper Artsy onto the strip using Archival Ink and clear EP and heat embossed, I stamped the single one twice and cut them out, I added some highlights with white Gel pen, I coloured my mini tag with Pan Pastels and stamped with Archival, which worked better than I thought lol, I used some canvas type strip for my ribbon which was cream, I coloured that with the same PP as my background, I attached my mini tag with a fixing from Tim Holtz.

Thank you for visiting today, I hope you like my tag? Please pop along and visit the rest of our amazing DT projects! Happy days xx Zoe xx

Very exciting news!

Good morning Lovelies! I hope everyone is keeping safe and warm from this deluge of rain and gales that keep appearing? It's nasty I want it to "STOP" please!!!

So as you can see from the title of my post, I do in deed have some very exciting news I'd like to share! Eek! I'm still pinching myself to see if I'm dreaming!! Lol

I've been invited to Join The wonderfully talented and lovely Sheena Douglass's Design Team "The Inkoids" fondly named! I'm a big fan of Sheena anyway and love her designs and I've learnt a lot from her techniques shown on TV, so I'm absolutely thrilled and honoured to join the team! As a celebration I am blogging some of my projects I've blogged before using Sheena's gorgeous stamps, these are some of my favourites!

This first one I made at a fabulous craft workshop run by the lovely and very talented Eileen Godwin
